VSD Capacitor Reforming

Keep your spare Variable Speed Drive in good working order for when you need it with IES.

New & used variable speed drives of most brands are often stored for extended periods of time before it is needed. If these go unused for 2 years (or longer), it should be reformed to recondition the electrolyticbus capacitors to restore its condition before going into service.

Industrial Electrical Solutions can do this Capacitor Reforming in our workshop (or at your site) to keep your spare drives ready for service. Our qualified electricians will reform the capacitors in the bus and give you a report to their health. The drive can also be cleaned, load tested, and the parameters verified during this service.

On completion a certificate and test sticker will be issued that includes recommended date of the next reform.

We support most brands of AC drives.
