We recommend to all owners of Javelin machines that you should have an arrangement with maintenance contractors familiar with your machine available at short notice, to carry out electrical, mechanical and pneumatic work to minimize machine downtime.

If your machine has a PLC, it is also worth having your local electronic engineer download the program through their laptop onto a CD for safe keeping. Should the PLC fail the only cost will be for new hardware. Re-programming can be very expensive.

We also recommend you have your maintenance person check critical items on your machine and where possible keep some parts in stock to prevent machine shutdown.
